Birth Doula

Some people are not comfortable with the thought of having a baby outside of a hospital setting. You can still have the birth of your dreams! A hospital can be a lovely place to have a baby, and we are certainly glad that we have them for those births that need to be in a hospital for any reason.

We help you create your birth plan, offer some tips and ideas of how to prepare for labor, and wait for the happy day when we get the call that you have gone into labor. We will be with you as you labor, first at home and then at the hospital. We take care of you and your partner as you go through the physical and emotional challenges of labor and birth. We will be with you in the hospital to help you understand the options presented by the hospital staff, advocating for you and the vision you have for your birth. After the baby is born we will stay to help you with breastfeeding and bonding.

We will have a follow-up visit with you after you return home to make sure that you are settling into your new life with your new little baby!
